I just just spot feeding my tank some reef roids and had all pumps turned off.. as I was observing I saw some red slime like substance on my rocks and thought I had a new algae so I took a closer look and noticed it was moving! I suctioned some out but they're so small! Can anyone tell me what these are, or if their harmful?

Possible. You should be able to get a pretty detailed pic with your phone if you have them out of the tank. If they are flatworms They are either planaria, or aefw. Planaria easy to kill, aefw harder if you have a lot of sps

Hi, looks like flatworms to me , not sure if red planaria though ?

Unfortunately my phone camera sucks at zooming in, even though it's a S21+...... I've dug a little deeper into the web and I'm thinking red planaria because they have almost a w pattern on one end of its body. I've never noticed them before but there's quite a few of them. What can I do to get rid of them or decrease numbers?

Wrasse or flat worm exit..

If I can pick your brain one last time... what makes them toxic? Just inadvertently or if there's a massive die off? What in the tank would they affect?
Im not sure, once they die. The toxins are released from their bodies into the water. There's just proof of them killing livestock.

You wanna siphon as many as you can out first if you decide to use flatworm exit.. follow the directions and be ready for a decent water change and run some carbon…

Thank you!
Most of the evidence comes from flatworm exit users. If you go that route.
