Hello all,

I just purchased a piece of LR with some yellow star polyps on it. After I got it acclimated and in my tank I noticed what I believe to be is an aiptasia anemone. (It's the very brown anemone in the picture attached below, sorry for the image quality.)

I plan to remove the aiptasia within an hour or two. (Although I've never dealt with aiptasia before, so I'm not sure how.) Can I remove the anemone using tweezers, or should I give it hot water using a syringe?

Along with the aiptasia, I've noticed these weird little orange "dandelion" fluffs on part of the LR. They hate the light, so it took a while to get a decent picture of them. I was hoping someone could tell me what this is.

Thanks in advance!

In the first pic it looks like a fan worm, second pic is a bit unclear but it looks like a pest anemone.
You can kill it with some ALK paste or let it retract in the rock and put some super coral glue on it.

In that second picture cover it with superglue and keep an eye out for more.
Don't let them go!

First pic fan worm.
