Hello,

Tonight while feeding my tank I noticed my lineapot flasher wrasse has some white dots on his face and pectoral fins. I got the fish over two months ago. I did not do TTM, but I did keep him in in QT for three weeks, and treated for parasites and monitored him daily. He has been very active and healthy the whole time I have had them. He still is acting healthy and eating like a pig. Do I neee to go ahead and catch him and my two clowns and start treatment? I’ll try and get a picture of him tomorrow.

Until you can post pictures, maybe this will be of some help, you can see your fish better than we can. So here's a great link with pictures of the most common fish diseases. Hope this helps a bit.

So I tried to get a picture, but the fish is so camera shy. Set up a tripod with my phone camera on a remote, and only got pictures focused in on the rocks. I've seen Ich before and it definitely looks like it. Also it's much easier to see in the deep blue lights at night, rather than the day spectrum. Is my fish in imminent danger? He seems healthy, no scratching, no heavy breathing, eats fine. Is there a chance ich has been in my system all along, and my fish is just now having the parasite attach? What steps should I take right now?

If you believe it to be ich I would recommend pulling all of your fish and putting them in a QT tank to treat with copper. I would recommend copper power and the Hanna copper checker, over the next 3-4 days ramp up the copper to 1.75ppm for 30 days or 14 days if you transfer to a sterile tank after the 14. This is the ideal tune to start treatment since your fish isn’t struggling yet and will withstand the treatment much better.
This will also cover velvet in case that is what you have.
