Possible issue with purple firefish

Hey folks. Had my eye on a pair of purple firefish for a month. Picked them up on Saturday. One was hiding before being netted and I didn’t inspect before I left. There is a small triangular mark on one side only. Is this damage/imperfection in the fish or something worse?

Firefish are constantly scraping and injuring themselves when they "dart" into their hiding spots under/in rocks. Mine used to tear off some of its fins doing so. Crazy fish.

I hope that’s all it is.

someone on a FB group thought it may be lymph or a fluke...and this one is shy so it’s hard to get an image.
