OK, so I am not sure what is going on with my tank. After the hurricane power was restored and I noticed a sudden drop in my salinityfrom 34 to 32.4 and not around 31.9. Thought it was a probe problem and calibrated it and the salinity just read lower. Checked it manually and it was indeed around 32 PPT. My corals seem to be doing ok but I do not know what is going on. I thought the sump was leaking as I saw a dark spot in the sump area. I took out the sump cut turned the plumbing off to keep the water in the display. I transfered all the probes and the ATO to the display. The salinity looked like ti was increasing but then it went down again. I will be attaching my Apex readings over the last few days the spike at 34 if from when I was calibrating it. I turned off my ATO last night and the salinity seems be just be staying low. I have not seen any water leaking from anywhere in the display. Any thoughts? I will not be near my tank to assess until later tonight to see if there is a change in the water line. I will reassess the salinity manually when I get home tonight. Any thoughts on where to search for leaks? I have a deep blue 120 gallon reef tank that is about 2-3 years old.

That graph looks like electrical interference. My graph looked just like that before I relocated my wiring away from my UV, though it does look like you have some moisture around the sump. Could your sump have overflowed a little when the power was out? If so, you'll want to redo things so that the sump will hold all of the water that drains during a power outage.

I just thought about this, our house is not a slab building and there was a support beam my boyfriend installed under the tank when I set up the tank, the hurricane flooded under the house, could it be that the support came loose and the tank may have settled a bit causing a leak?

I have resealed the base again with acrylic and silicone so it should be able to hold the water again. I bought a new sump the trigor 34 sump and should be here on thursday. I can't remember if I said I recalibrated the probe but I did.

That is moisture bou not a wet area to signify there is a current leak. If it got wet from overflow, you will have a moist area for a few weeks as salt crytalizes.
I have the synergy 34, similar to Trigger. You will like it

Ah ok thanks. Yeah the most re I probe around the more I am starting to think my salinity probe is acting up. I recalibrated it again. The probe now says 32.5,then Suddenly dropped to 31.8 then back up, I have the ATO system off right now so I definetly know that’s no causing sharp drops. I have been manually checking salinity and will turn ATO on when the salinity increases to a more acceptable level. Figured that was the safest way to increase salinity slowly.

Dont go by the probe...ive never been able to get accurate readings since i installed it.
