Looking at this carpet, any thoughts on it from the pic? It has been at the lfs for at least two weeks now, I have been watching it that long.

Done. This guy is STICKY! Lfs guy got a handful of it getting him bagged up. I prefer to use my plastic sleeve for placement.

Pretty true to color in this pic. Small right now, but hopefully expands a bit when settled in. Acclimated for almost two hours before adding. Mouth is just a slight bit open at the moment, was tight at the lfs though.

How's the foot any tear you notice and I hope you don't mind me asking how long has your tank been set up?

No tear that I saw. I always inspect the foot after bagging before I purchase for that reason alone.

This tank has been running since October. Parameters have been stable almost since day one. Nitrate of 0. My only issue so far has been phosphate, they crept up to .10. I added a reactor and got them back down though. There are also two other nems in this tank, both doing well. A sabae and a ritteri.

Very true. I probably would have held off it the tank hasn't been stable. The other two nems are doing well also, so I took that into account. If they were having issues, I wouldn't see the point of adding another.

How long have you had the ritteri? I could never keep those alive in my tank

Awesomeness!! Mine is super sticky too, and more so since he's been in the tank almost 2 months. I'm terrible when it comes to acclimating. I think I did 15 mins float, 30 mins water. Salinity wasn't too far off when I added my haddoni though. Great to see you take the leap. Make sure your scape is secure. Mine is taking a tour of the ground floor and my precarious rocks are teetering a bit. Mine likes a snug fit, so I'll rescape slightly when it comes time for the rest of the experiment.

I'll probably start a thread here. I have one locally, but I'm not sure how linking goes here.

The ritteri is maybe two weeks in my care. Can't rememebr, could look back as I have a thread on it too. Maybe just a week.

So far I have been extremely lucky. I placed the sabae and it stayed put. I placed the ritteri and it stayed put. So far neither have moved. Also, so far neither have stuck their mouth inside out or gaped or the normal signs that they aren't doing well.

Gorgeous carpet! you're housing this with a Ritteri and Sabae??
i've never had good luck housing multiple species of anemone.

best of luck

Yeah good luck with the ritteri longest I've kept one is a month:( would love to try another one but I think I'm going to stay away from them.

I have been down the carpet and gotten one to grow and seemingly thrive, then for some reason it decided to start walking.

I thought with this tank I would rather try some of the harder ones, rather hen filling with a bunch of bta. I am adding actually as I find them in good health, in no specific order. I am thinking though, now with three in there I should start running carbon just in case.
