Possible outbreak plague

Yesterday I had moved some rock work around to catch a nasty six line who was terrorizing my tank. After exchange him for a peacefull yellow wrasse all was well in the tank. Today I'm just looking at everything and see what seem to be out breaks of white soft tubular shaped "worms" coming off of the rock work. If anyone has any idea of what they are, which I'm sure someone does, I'd greatly appreciate it. Here are some pictures

Thank you, where would they come from, the rock wasn't live rock and do they benifit anything having them?
