I believe I am having issues with precipitation in my 75 gallon. Although I am showing no visual signs (no build up on heaters or pumps, no clumpy sand) these numbers just don't add up!
My tank is not mature and has about 15 lps frags and 20 sps frags. Rhe spa is growing nicely I see visible signs of growth. Corraline is taking off and I need to clean it from the glass weekly.
Attached are images showing my levels and what I currently. Brs 2 part and pharma kalk from a reactor. The vinegar is dosed in to the reactor to concentrate the kalk.
I have done the stop dosing to try and stop the precip (measure alk drop and calculate demand to formulate a proper dose) but alk drops rapidly and I am trying to not kill my sps...
Any tips would be appreciated.

Also, do calcium reactors have precipitation issues? I have a geo 618 from a previous tank and have been considering setting it up. If the answer is no, ca rx do not lead to precip issues like the soda ash, I may buy the regulator and setup the reactor.

What exactly are you suggesting doesn't add up?
The fact I am dosing 1300 ml of kalk (with 40ml of vinegar to strengthen it), 275 ml of alk, and 265 ml of ca (brs 2 part) daily on my 75 gallon that only has frags in it. Doses don't seem to be in line with what usage should be. The corals aren't growing THAT fast. I wish they were!

How exactly are you makign the limewater (kalkwasser)?

If you were using 2 teaspoons per gallon of fresh water and it all dissolved, it is supplying 0.5 dKh of alk per day. If you upped that to 3 teaspoons, it might be about 0.8 dKH per day.

The two part (assuming it is the carbonate version) is supplying a whopping 5 dKH per day.

That is very high and there is likely precipitation somewhere. Hardening sand? On heaters?

What doe sit mean in your graphic that salt is 30.1? Is that salinity? If so, I would definitely raise that. Magnesium is likely very low unless you are independently supplementing it.

My suggestion is to stop dosing anything and let the alk drop to 7 dKH. Then after a few days at 7 dKH, stop using the BRS alk part and switch to baking soda for that part.
