Don't have a ton of experience with Zoas although I've kept some small colonies in the past. Over the past several weeks I've noticed this small frag I added to my tank was acting strangely -- they open and act healthy but some of the ones on the side have died so I dipped them last week but I'm still curious as to what this could be. Anyone know?

i think those are some kind of sponges. you can remove them manually

i had that once in a frag of zoas.. i did freshwater dips. then i remove it with my hand/toothpick and toothbrush. it kept growing. i went like that for 3 week.. then they disappear.
thats really weird.
but im happy they are gone haha
