Hey guys,

Just want to verify that this is a black Stomatella Snail. Sorry for the poor pictures... Creatures never cooperate when you want them to. [emoji849] Haha

Thanks!

I'm no help with the ID, just wanted to say that your live rock looks like some awesome stuff!
Haha thank you. It has it's ups and downs. When I got it, it had the beginnings of all of this, and it seems like everyday something else pops up! It didn't come without some bad though, I do have to watch out for Aiptasia in random places and it did come with some bristleworms (if you're one to not like them... Personally I don't mind them so long as they don't get out of control). I only have a pico going right now and appreciate the life that shows up in my tank. That was a huge part of the appeal for me, but if I was to get a larger tank there would be no way that I would start with such well seeded rock. I fear that I would never be able to keep anything pesky in check. lol

its good that your pico has diverse life! I do like bristle worms as long as they dont get too large. They are good scavengers. In a big tank, using dry rock instead of live rock is recommended to keep anything nasty out of the tank, upgrading means you can pick an choose what you want to bring over from the old tank.
