So I got up a little earlier than normal and was looking at the tank before any lights in the house came on. This guy was front and center. I’ve never seen it before. I’m hoping/guessing it’s a stometella snail, but want verification.

My montis keep having rounds of loosing tissue and I haven’t a clue what’s going on with them - so I’m paranoid.

Does It look like this?

It seems like it has a well developed shell in your picture the ones I’ve seen in my tank look like slugs with a super small developing shell.

Not stomatella. Are you still able to remove it?

Ugh. No. I have no clue where it went. Any idea what it was? I’m assuming you think it’s bad. I assumed it’s an algae eater due to the green spots around the edge.
