I have 3 Watanabw angles in qt with a lineatus wrasse and a blue hipo tang. The angles are displaying some weird swimming patterns. They are swimming nose down a lot and seem to have trouble staying at the bottom of the tank. I have ready put them through 2 rounds of prazi and have just now got them up to proper strength copper. I did bring it up slowly over about a weeks time. They are still eating very well. But I thinking swim blader. The wrasse and tang are not showing these signs. I did see the tang flashing but that is the only other sign of anything I have seen. What should I do?

Could you post a video? Do they eat ok? Is the swimming like that constant?

Wouldn’t be unusual for watanabeis to have swim bladder issues.

They eat very well. They kill frozen and pellets. Could the copper be causing this?

I just tried to upload a video but it keeps saying the uploaded file does not have an aloud extension.

It could be a mild swim bladder problem just because they don’t seem to be able to reach the bottom.

Unfortunately, nothing much can be done about it. Venting operation may work but is pretty involved. You could try feeding a boiled pea 1-2x a day just in case it’s constipation.

Would Epsom salt work the same way the peas would?
