Possible t5 upgrade

I'm thinking of upgrading my 4 bulb unit to a 6. I've been leaning towards giving one of the hydro units a go considering they're about $400 cheaper than most aquatic based units on the market. Anyone have experience with these?

I've never tried one, are they less wattage than the one's you are comparing them too?

Issue would be if its got a splash shield or waterproof end caps. Or if its UL listed.

Dual on/off switches.
The only downfall is no splash guard but that just gives me a little project if I do go with this lamp. There are hydro shops popping up all over the valley so I'm going to stop in and get a little more info on these.
