No there shouldn't. I do this all the time at the store and at home. Add extra oxygen exchange and it should be fine.

I tend to dose both every 48 hours with a water change right before... but that's mostly because of my schedule at work. Just follow the directions as best you can for both.

So I have been treating with Furan 2 and Kanaplex, but the tang still has this. Should I keep going?

antibiotics are notoriously slow acting in fish. Keep going for the full 10 days and see where he's at then.

So, over the last few days, I did some water changes and added a poly pad to take out the remaining copper. The tang has improved tremendously and amost all the visible spots are gone.

No i ran out a few days ago. We got hit with two snow storms so I couldnt get more yet.
