Good evening all,
I have a 75 with a 29 sump mixed reef
Nitrate is 3 to 5
Phos. Is undetectable on salifert

I'm not sure if this is cyno. I went out if town for 10 days and left my brother in charge and it got pretty bad while I was gone. I have added a little extra carbon and some phosgaurd. I'm thinking keep the lights off for a couple days and dont feed? I have a fuge and the cheato grows like crazy.

That's what I thought. I guess I'll start the black out tonight, and keep the fuge light on longer.

The tank is getting moved in a couple weeks and I will be drilling it during that time so I can turn up the flow a bit. I've been afraid to crank it up too much with the eshopps hang on.

+1 add more flow and Wait it out it will come back, I also did the chemiclean works great in a reef tank make sure to follow the instructions it will comeback in low flow eventually
