Just found a large group of clown fish eggs under my rainbow rose anemone that split last night. My wife and daughter want me to try to hatch them out..
After reading seems like a little work, which I don't mind if I could find the stuff I need to do it...
My business minded 8 year old daughter wants me to raise them to sell for 7.00 each or 10 a pair to help fund her laptop savings LOL.. No, she is serious!

The female is grade A snowflake and male is a black and white oscellaris so wonder what the babies would be?

is it mostly useless? I will probably try as this is the most interest either of them have shown in the tank in a long time..

Anyone with any rotifers? Suggestions/tips

My rotifer culture crashed on me, but I am ordering some from Live Aquaria today to get shipped to me tomorrow to start it back up. So I can add a bag to my order if you want. Then I can ship it to you or you can come pick it up in Huntsville.

You will normally get a few different types of clowfish because you will get the strain of the parents, but you will also get strains that make up the parents and get the combination. You will get snowflake, black ice, black ocellaris, and may even get some regular ocellaris.

Rotifera require almost daily maintenance but it takes like 5-10 minutes.

I have yet to keep a batch of clownfish fry alive past 7 days. I am 0 for 3 so far but you get to try every 2 weeks because they will spawn that often and produce the eggs.

Wow... what else is needed beside rotifers, small aquarium with light and heater, air and stone?

I definitely want a bag but just curious if there is additional shipping fees to add a couple fish? I am wanting a red mandarin and couple jawfish

If you want to pick the fish up I can add them to my list. I already have enough for free shipping so it wouldn't cost you anything more.

You just need a 5gallon bucket, air pump and air stone. You don't really need a heater or light if you are keeping it indoors. If you are doing it in the garage you will need a heater. You also have to set up a phytoplankton culture which will require a good light. The phyto is the food for the Rotifera so you need both cultures so you can feed them every few days.
