Is it just a myth that the ones with a yellow belly aren't as prone to disease? I've tried one of the blue regals with no luck a few years ago , I'd love to have one. Would one be ok in a 120 gallon with a yellow and a bristle tooth Tomini?
Have one in each of 2 tanks I assist with: One in a 144 with a yellow and a medium angel (can't remeber) + bunch of smaller, another in a 200 w/Vlamingi & blonde naso & bunch of others.
Great fish and spot on about stress free life. The latter broke out with ich after it got put in because the guy he bought it from didn't have a net so he...chased it around the tank with a 5 gallon bucket...he got over it and it's all good now

These three tang are all different colours, shapes and sizes so they should be fine together, Ideally you would have a bigger tank due to the fact regals get massive, however I know people will always do what they want so in theory yes it would be fine, but you'd want a tiny one as they grow quickly and realistically you'd need to upgrade sooner rather than later, I see too many regal tangs cramped into tiny tanks. The issue with getting at tiny one is that it will have to compete with the other dominant tangs in the tang.

Yea I always start small. My Tomini was about the size of a quarter four years ago. He's around 3" now. The yellow was a rescue fish he's also around 3". I also have a mccoskers wrasse that I'm not sure will enjoy new company.
