Post Apocalypse update #2

The Apocalypse-August 24th, 2016

Almost 7 weeks ago.

Still no fish but next weekend I *might* add one. Maybe. I'm really quite scared to do so.

Set up the HOB filter (an aquaclear) and the HOB refugium type box today. Between the two and the skimmer I'm probably over doing it. I did remove one of the power heads I had in there and turned the two I left to the surface so I could get a little water breakage. I'm still futzing around with everything. Putting off the inevitable I guess.

I have to go into my lfs next weekend to order my new light system for it and that's when I'll look to see if there's anything I want to take a chance on. I'll test the water again one more time before I go. Just to be sure.

I would be scared to do it too if I were in your shoes, but I'm sure things will be just fine. Heck, I was nervous when I put my first fish in my first tank after it cycled. I'll be even more nervous when I finally take the plunge to put something in my 68 gallon that I've had problems with from the start. Hope you find something you love at the LFS and bring it home with you. Take a chance!

I try to stay away from going to the LFS... I always end up with something I really didn't need. With that said don't be a me and spend 4x what you intended on a bunch of stuff you really don't need

well.. unless you have to have it haha
