I'm going on week 2 of the post-Dino breakout but the clean up is proving to be crazy hard, getting all the dead off all my rocks without killing my livestock is proving to be harder than I thought it would be. Constantly blowing off a section and changing filter socks twice a day doing 1g auto water change daily with a 10g every 3 days and after this long, I still got quite a bit left in. So today I hooked up an external canister filter to help clean up as I blow off my rocks and it seems to be helping a lot. This weekend with start week 5 of this terrible experience. How did everyone else clean up the rocks, I still got some in my sand that just won't suck up also it's so fine or lightweight.

Post-Dinos Day 1 I did a 30% change and have every 3 days since with 1g about daily. Also day 12 I blew too much into the water and ended up killing a fish so I'm hesitant to blow too much up at once now.

More information would be handy if you could. What do dinoflagellates look like when they are dying? Are you sure that is what actually killed the fish?
