how long after a tank has suffered fish loss to brooklynella or Ich does it have to remain fallow !? Currently on 68 days or so! And I was going to wait til 90 days to be sure !

It's different for different diseases. Ich is the longest I'm aware of, at 76 days. That allows even the longest-living tomonts to release their last load of theronts - which, finding no fish to parasitize, will die a slow, lingering death of starvation. (A couple of days, really ... but I like to imagine ich suffering, after the way it makes our fish suffer!)
IIRC, the fallow period for velvet is more like six weeks. Brook . . . I honestly don't know. @Humblefish or @melypr1985 probably know that as well as I know my children's names.

X2 never can be too safe!Well 90 is best...the minimum is 76 days w/o any fish at all. If you can stand it to 90... do it! You will be a bit over the typical but better safe than sorry IMO

Thank you for the help!!!!You are correct on your fallow periods. Brook is 6 weeks as well.
If the OP can stand to wait until 90 days are up, then more power to you!
Do you have a reference paper on this or just in communications with sea chem? I would love to check it out.....you can never read enough in this hobbySeachem apparently did new research and have determined although 99% of all ICH is gone after 70 days, it had lasted more then 90 days in cases.
