Well, my system is now officially 9 months running with turbo aquatics algae scrubber, diablo skimmer, lots of LPS and SPS growing well, and a toadstool doing amazing. This after, 3-4 months ago I lost 14 fish due to electrical current, stress, and they all succombed to something different. 3 fish survived and have been doing very well.
Now fast forward to yesterday 8/11 and everything died in late march to mid april. About 5 months has passed and the remaining 3 fish have been doing amazing since replacing both of my heaters. I have an elegance coral now, that I've had for around a month that is beautiful and fully opening every day and growing!
So, with that said, I added a fish fish yesterday. First ones since the fishacalypse. A royal grama, a goby (and 2 pistol shrimp pair), and 2 wrasses, and a mimic tang. They came from an established tank of a friends. Here's to hoping the fishacolypse is over. Fishageddon? Fishpocalypse? Not sure.
