I am in the process of designing a storage setup for my tank, which will go in my new house. I want it to match the stand as close as possible in dimensions, which is 28'H x 20"W.

this storage will need to house a Brute 20g can, as well as have storage for flake food, scrubbers, etc.

I also have an Apex and Energy Bar, as well as MP40 controller that will need to be mounted somehow. I would rather not drill into the walls of the house, hence why I am trying to gather ideas from the wonderful R2R crowd!

I used velcro to mount my controller and power strips. I wanted the controller display on the outside of the stand and didn't want to put any holes in it. I've been able to remove them fairly easy when I needed to move something. This also allowed me to mount the power strips to the top inside of the sand so there's no way water will drip into them. I don't currently have any pics or I would post them.

any specific velcro that you used? The apex seems to weigh a bit, especially with items plugged into it.

I used these picture fastener things from CVS. They have adhesive backs then you squish the 2 together and it holds really tight but easy to take off.

I mounted all the electronics in a divided section of the stand and used zip ties and zip tie fasteners to route wiring. I also routed cables so they would not be at the bottom of the stand where they could potentially get wet. Industrial strength velcro for the MP40 controllers and just short screws for the Apex, EB8s, and other Apex modules. Routing the wiring mean the module itself wasn't holding all the wires up and in place. I plan to split loom wire harnesses and have separate harnesses for signal level cables and power cables.
