Getting ready to plumb my Modular Marine 2400 GPU overflow, and was wondering if I need a shutoff valve on the secondary drain? I have a gate valve for the primary. Post pics for inspiration, thanks!

Why would you need a ball valve for the secondary? Just trying to imagine a scenario where that would be needed.
