I'm in disbelief that it's only been 2 1/2 weeks since I woke up one morning to a soupy container of death in my living room (ironic room name). Long story in one sentence; A pump cord shorted and began a chain reaction that crashed the tank triggering the demise of a number of my corals, a cleaner shrimp and who knows what else.
Thank you to the R2R members watching the Tank Emergency Forum who helped navigate me to minimizing the damage, getting the tank bank to recovery and providing vital moral support.

The crash wiped out a number of my large original softies, most of the new corals I had picked up from the Cherry Coral live sale a few weeks earlier and corals I had just added from members of LIRA (my local club) :-(
Also, that morning I received a shipment of 6 new corals from the Jason Fox live sale so there was a second urgency to get the tank ready to accept new corals.
In addition to expressing my gratitude for the help of the R2R community, I'd like to share some photos I took today in case anyone who stumbles across this thread ever finds themselves needing a positive image after suffering a demoralizing set back.
Still a long ways from being out of the woods, but some of these corals are yelling at me that they are certainly feeling better.

this was merely stumps a week ago
The nem's twin died - likely the critical fatal event - leaving this one on the brink, but it's coming back nicely and the clowns have rediscovered it.
The candy canes took a beating, was expecting to lose them, but now we have signs of life. The JF lime light hydno is acclimating fine and should keep those mushrooms in line
zoas are reopening and better yet, the flower pot appears to have used this event to claim back territory
gotta love the duncans for bouncing back so quickly.
ORA Pink and Green Damicornis from the Cherry Coral sale. This was bone white two weeks ago and may turn out to be the sole survivor of that lot of corals. Rooting hard for this little orphan.
