Post pics of the following if you have them!

ATL Apple Berry Monti Palawenensis
ATL Ocean Blue Polyp Stylo
Pink Sandollar Monti
Ultimate Frags sunflower monti (encrusting)
Monti setosa

I have liked the pictures I've seen of these on vendors' sites but I'd like to see them in your tanks before I go about buying them :) Thanks in advance!

i've never gotten any of the above from those specific dealers....but i have 3 of them that came from other people.

i have the apple berry monti and the ocean blue polyp stylo that both came from local tanks. these people had them waaaaaay before they became "rare".

the setosa is pretty cool IMO. i think it will only get more popular once people's small frags grow into crazy looking colonies...

Hey Al do you have any pics of your blue polyp stylo?

very slow grower....i started with a 1/2" frag a little over 2 years ago........and i've never fragged it.

thanks, that stylo and the appleberry monti are not as "rare" as some particular stores would like you to believe.

i got the stylo from a guy who had that colony since around 2004, and i got the appleberry from a local, who got it in a tank break down from another local....who had it for several years.

the setosa on the other hand, is very rare IMO....and the growth IMO is wicked cool

Here are some pictures of the AppleBerry (not to be confused with FrankenBerry, BooBerry, or Count Chocula) that I fragged for Al. It came from Richmond, but I lived in ATL for >7yr so we can call it the RCH ATL MTG AppleBerry. It's super rare!!!

Here's a macro shot from July:

Here's a recent shot where you can see it healing from the Dremel-fragging. You can see a passing vagrant decided to use it as a toilet.

Any changes to the lighting are going to have to wait! ;)

The picture may have been taken with a flash and its a bit overexposed, it looks straight up green in person.

Applerberry ehh LOL, or is it also Monti Vercosa?
I have that.... Super OLD PIC

I wish I could show you a better pic but I bought 1 branch .5" at the most about 2months ago, not bad growth,
It is glued to a wall about 3" under the water wit ha 10 K 400 above it.

How is the growth on yours? Mine has been putting down a base for about 4 months now.

Sweet looking apple berry J. Montgomery

its grown a little more out and up since this pic 3 months ago, it seems to grow better lower in the tank. as i had it up high and was blasting it with all my other encrusting monti's.....but people were saying they were getting faster growth and better color lower in the tank.

Great and mine is glued to the wall about 3" under the water level:confused:

and maybe it is your guys lighting, but mine loks to be burnt orange and your almost flo. orange?

I also love the grown out look of this coral, I also like the M. aquabiculata? (sp) I have been trying to get it for a long time. I traded a guy a sunset and was suposed to hook me up with his, and then of course he fell of the radar with my sunset!! B-****
