I dont own this chalice, but i havent heard much on it.

So post pics, info, etc. about it, you owners of the beauty!

A colony shot would be a high five 2 you:wink:

I saw his.. i think, i was hoping this thread would encourage the few that have it to talk about it and post pics of it. . . .

Idk . . . . .

Come on owners i want to see a macro or colony shot of this chalice!

Here is mine again. LED nighttime shot. Top middle.

I'll take a closeup macro shot of it later when I go to the warehouse.

I've never seen another frag of it for sale to the public.

Sweet have you found if it likes high light or not?

Cant wait for the macros!!

I haven't toyed with moving it around at all. I have it at 90 par under t5's and it is doing very well. It doesn't look that big but it is growing and you know it always takes a while for them to get started. I can tell that this piece has reached the point where it will start to put on 10 eyes quick. I'm guessing 3 or 4 more months.

Craig(soccerbag) has it too..saw it last week..what a killer piece!!!

Awsome!

Now that i think about it,I probably wouldnt move it around either if it was looking happy, lol

The story on it please correct me if im wrong in any part but i got my knowledge from a very reputable source.

The original colony was sold for a few hundred bills by Mr. coral under his WYSIWYG as a colony to a Hobbiest, at this point JF found it and was able to obtain half from that hobbiest. JF slapped his 450 per eye price tag on it and people fell in love with it. I personally love the piece and will be picking up a piece from JF personally in a few weeks. Also since im the best here is the best i could do on the colony shot from MR coral

Wo thanks for the info and colony shot!!! I really am liking this chalice!!!

Your welcome, i personally love it.

alpha how they heck do you feed ur chalice that much? whats ur tips/tricks

My tanks are shallow 8" deep and I use a turkey baster. My tanks are raceways so they have support walls for me to brace my hand so the turkey baster stays nice and steady. With cyclops-eeze they can eat it quick. Also I have no fish or crabs or anything to steal the food. I turn all my pumps off during the feeding session. The key is not to squeeze the turkey baster, just let the food fall out on to the mouth :)

yea shallow tanks with no flow and any other fish or crabs are the key... i turn of the lights for 30 min then just 1 t5 and cut of all the flow and you can target feed but i hate when I'm not to stable and i hit the feeder tenticles hard and they close up..LOL

Here is a shot of mine a few months ago. Need to get an updated pic. Slow grower but a stunner!
