Hi all,

So I've had quite a few different setups over the years with some combinations of fish that have worked, and other combinations that needed... "adjustment." I'm currently starting to stock my Reefer XXL 750, and want to see some successful experiences with reef fish stocking. Please post your tank size, type of reef tank (SPS, Softy, mixed, etc.) and fish list (only if everyone is getting along swimmingly), along with any comments. Here's my current list:

Tank is a Red Sea Reefer XXL 750 170 gallons, Will be SPS (no corals yet as it's only 2 months old)

In DT:
Bonded pair of Dracula Gobies with a candy can snapping shrimp
2 Bartletts Anthias

In QT:
Pair of Watanabei angels (male and female)
Labout's Fairy Wrasse
Blue Flasher Wrasse

All are getting along well.

Thank you in advance for your input!

My tank is vastly smaller than yours, but I currently have a 20 gallon SPS heavy mixed reef (lot's of zoas and a few LPS corals) that has a Longnose Hawkfish (still a baby), Lemon Chromis, Pink Streak Wrasse, and Randall's Goby also with a Flame Shrimp and Tiger Pistol Shrimp and a few other inverts. My only gripe at this point is that my Pistol Shrimp has developed a taste for starfish and ate my almost 3 year old sand sifting star as well as my red fromia star. All of my fish get along well and I suspect you could add any of them to your setup without any issues (unless you get a bigger longnose hawkfish and have small ornamental shrimp that it will find tasty).
