go to User CP
on the left go to Edit Avatar
at that point you can tell if to point to a remote address where you have an image on the net already like "photobucket"
Option 1 - Enter the URL to the Image on Another Website
or
Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer
upload and image from your local computer but must meat upload requirements.
The maximum size of your custom image is 150 by 150 pixels or 24.4 KB
then click save changes
if you are still having problems let us know.
the only other thing that might affect it would be user requirements for having one and i dont remember off hand what are the min requirements are. i can look in to that.
