Potassium nitrate wont dissolve.....

Those of you who dose a potassium nitrate solution, what is your recipe?

I have purchased this stuff....Tongmaster High Purity Saltpetre Potassiumnitrate 1 kg https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01FXJCC76/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_WV9ZS2C04B07EHHXT2GE?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

I have mixed 100 grams into 1.5 litres of RO to find it will not all dissolve. Is it my ratio or is it likely a crap product ?

I dissolve 163g KNO3 in 1000ml RODI for a solution where dosing 1ml increases Nitrate by 1ppm per 100 litres.

It should be soluble up to 31.6g in 100ml of water at 20 deg C.

So yours should dissolve.

I thought so! Maybe its just a crappy product. Is your mixture cloudy or clear?

The fact it won't fullydissolve...even under heat... makes me worried about adding it to my tank :S

My solution is completely clear.

I'd be cautious too.
