Hi All,

So back in October I purchased what I believe to be a Strombus Snail for my tank. Since then I have been experiencing snail losses which initially I attributed to one of my two Wrasses. But over the last couple of weeks and days I have begun to notice small "drill holes" in the empty snail shells, which leads me to believe that the Strombus is some form of predatory whelk!

Terrible photo of the addition back in October, note the "barb" in the Photo!

So. How likely is this to be the culprit of the snail deaths?
How would i best go about catching this if it is the cause?
Sump it afterwards?

That's a Florida fighting conch. The driller doesn't have those eye stalks.

That makes me feel a little better that I wasn't mis-sold something
So I need a snail trap and patience before getting my CuC back up to speed
