Hi R2R,

I currently have a 60 Cube that has been set up for almost a year. In this Cube, I have the following livestock

Candy cane hogfish
Firefish
6 line wrasse
Blue sapphire damsel
Yellow clown goby
Various sps, lps, softies
Standard clean up crew.

Here is the issue... My wife came home today with a black ice clownfish. Granted, it is a pretty cool fish, but I am worried about overstocking the tank. Is the addition of this last fish a bad idea?

I think you should be fine with another fish in a 60g tank from a bioload perspective. Could add some bacteria if you wanted but unlikely necessary in a well established tank.

The 6line may be the only issue I could see if it for whatever reason starts going after the clown as they tend to be aggressive. Maybe use an acclimation box to see the reaction. Of course always a good idea to Quarantine and observe too unless from a very reliable source.
