Potter's Angel Sunken in Gill Area

I have this Potter's Angel in QT. I got him a few days ago and he looked fine. I ramped up copper power up to 2 ppm over 3 days. Yesterday, the first day of 2.0 ppm copper, he started hanging out in the corner of the tank and not swimming much. He's also on the 5th day of GC/metro bath (GC on days 1/7, metro on days 3/5/9) as well as feeding gc/focus laced food.

He now has this sunken in gill area and what looks to be brook or velvet? Given that he is already being treated with copper as well as metro bath and food, should I be doing anything different? Or stay the course?

This is very strange. I have not seen such a sinking in before. My first guess would be a potential bacterial infection that set in. If it were up to me, I'd start antibiotics Furan-2 and Kanamycin added to the regimen. However, let's get some more thoughts @ngoodermuth @Frtdrmrose7 @HotRocks @Big G @Brew12

I think I see a few things going on in the pics.
First I’m pretty sure I see lympho starting on his dorsal fin, second I’m pretty sure he has Ich (raised spots) third he appears to have a ragged tail which could be from flukes and lastly probably a bacterial infection starting from one of the above.
What treatment have you done or are doing currently?

Ok I just completely read the post and if he’s in copper at 2.0ppm that will cover ich/velvet. If that’s Brook the metro/GC may not have enough kick fast enough to knock it down in time. I would give him a 90 min Ruby Reef Rally bath to knock it down so the metro/GC can work better.
Other than that I would stay the course and get ready with some ABX’s

Agree entirely. I’d increase oxygenation as well via a bubbler AND a powerhead breaking the surface. More is better than less with mixed/multiple meds. I hope it pulls through. Fish are arriving rough these days it seems — I don’t know how anyone gets away without quarantining

Thanks all. Yes, I have a sponge filter, air stone, and powerhead in there. I'll start with a ruby reef rally bath. Should I take some take water out of the QT to do the bath? Will Ruby Rally interact with the copper and metro?

I would absolutely not mix rally with other medications, so would use fresh SW to mix it into

The infection got worse. I dosed Spectrogram. Is that okay? So it's currently in copper, metro, and spectrogram.

That's all you can do at this point. That is a bad infection. Most likely gram positive.

How many days has the fish been in copper?

Today is the 4th day therapeutic. Doesn't look good. Doing the death spiral.

Edit: And it has died....

I have a goby in the same QT that looks okay (hard to tell though since it is so small and always hiding). Should I continue with the current treatment? Copper, metro, spectrogram?

I’d continue. Sorry for your loss. Gram negative infections are very quick to progress. Antibiotics are slow to work in marine fish as well
