With Hawaii slowing fish shipments has anyone seen Potters Angels for sale recently. I'm setting up a 150 FOWLR and would love to try and find one. I have a few very good LFS in the area but haven't seen any Potters in months.

I think your best bet is to get it from someone getting out of the hobby.
I see a few here and there from fellow reefers, but I haven't seen one in a store for over a year and a half

IMO I’d try a pair in a 150. But they aren’t easy to find with Hawaii shut down (for now at least) and they aren’t the easiest angels to keep. I would wait on Biota or Bali Aquarich and get a CB one if left to me.

These angels are endemic to Hawaii and with them being shut now, it’s almost impossible to get them (Along with many fish like them such as Anampses crysocephalus, Cirrhilabrus jordani and Apolemichthys arcuatus). The only way to get these fish that are endemics of Hawaii is by getting them from someone exiting the hobby.

Captive bred/raised is being worked on or so rumor has it. Hobbyist exiting for now is the only way.

Been trying to figure out how much to sell mine for. getting out of the hobby for a while and just learned you can't get these fish anymore.
I wont be able to ship but if anyone in the central florida area wants one i'm looking to rehome. my local LFS is chomping at the bit to buy it from me.. worse case.
