Hello all.
I picked up a potters about 2 weeks ago and noticed the other day a small spot on the back end near the tail. Looking for some advice on what it could be?
hopefully the pics are clear.

No other issues I have noticed. Eats well. Loves blood worms.

Looks like a bacterial infection, possibly from a scrape. It isn’t over any vital organs, so that’s a plus if it starts to spread. Do you have a quarantine tank? If not, you’ll just have to feed it well and see if it can fight it off on its own.
Is the anthias new also? It looks a little skinny, or maybe the camera angle?

I don’t have a qt tank and even if I did I’m not sure I could catch him. Lol

Yep they are new put them in 2 days ago. Need to get them fattened up ;)

I have been soaking my food in Vitamin c ... is it worth it to do that? Anything else I can do?

Vitamin C is water soluble so it can’t hurt, but you can’t really count on it to cure anything. Just make sure you feed them multiple times per day, a good variety of foods
