Hello! I recently picked up a little green pavona and there is a small growth of algae on the tip of the frag. Maybe the the damsel in the frag tank at my lfs had a bite? Anyways, should I remove it once acclimated to the tank to give the chance of regrowth? Or is it best left alone/self correcting? If I should remove it then what's the proper method?

Hair algae
Remove as much as you can by hand and reduce white light intensity just a little
Assure your nitrate and phosphate are not elevated.
Snails such as turbo, cerith, astrea and trochus will eat this
