What is your phosphate level? 40 No3 is high but not insane high. Alk is a bit low, is it always at 7? I would recommend targeting like 8-9 dKH but if you're going to raise your dKH do it very slowly. How old is the tank? Rocks look like you're in the first few months.Ph 8.0 to 8.2
Ammonia 0 ppm
Nitrite 0ppm
Nitrate is high at about 40 ppm I’m doing a water change tomorrow
Calcium is 420 ppm
Alk is 7
I didn’t test for phosphate I will when I get home the tank is about 5 months but the some of the rocks are newer some were live rock and then I put some dry rock in itWhat is your phosphate level? 40 No3 is high but not insane high. Yeah 5 months is pretty early for SPS corals. Is it possible you had an alk swing?I didn’t test for phosphate I will when I get home the tank is about 5 months but the some of the rocks are newer some were live rock and then I put some dry rock in it
Totally possible but when I've had issues with them they're always going after something fleshy like duncans or acans etc.I also have 2 emerald crabs could they be picking at it by chance?
