Hi guys, have a pbt in qt process, noticed whitish fins on it earlier this week and later white dots all over (was pretty hard to tell since the tang is light blue but looked to me like ich) alongside it being pretty lethargic.

Treated with cupramine, ended up becoming super lethargic to the point of barely moving so I did a small water change, today he was swimming around in circles as they do, hes also eating pellets and nori though not aggressively, just nibbling and lazily snapping up single pellets as he does his patrol.

What made me post is the base of the fins appear reddish, usually youd see it on fin rot or bacterial infections but I see nothing whitish on his fins anymore and they are whole, other then the red he appears fine.

Enclosing the best pics I could get, I should note his qt tank isnt very large coming in at around 20 gallons, maybe its just stress from feeling cramped?

Thanks

Looks like tang suffered effects of copper treatment and has developed internal bacterial infection. Melafix as well as PraziPro May help
