Powder Blue Tang with weird white markings

Ok pretty similar situation. Purchased this fish yesterday looked really good at lfs and was there a while according to them eating healthy. Examined him for a while not a single mark. Acclimated for about 4 hours and by the time I put him in it was pretty dark the tank. I also have a large green carpet. So I'm wondering if this could also be a sting from carpet?

This is the other side looks fine

Should I be worried?

Could well be. Just keep it fed and keep the water in good condition.
