Hi,
I would love to add a powder blue tang to my 110 gallon reef tank, but I've already got a yellow tang and a regal tang. I know that tangs can be very territorial and it isn't recommend to add more after you've already got some, but I'm wondering if and how I can make it work.
My tangs have only been in the tank for a month or less and both are about 3". They get along really well and don't chase any of the other fish around.
Are there some things that I can do to better my chances of success?
I've heard that powder blues are very finicky, but I've also heard that they're not any more difficult to keep than regal tangs. Is this true?
Thanks in advance!

They aren't very hard to keep, I would just do standard QT procedures as with all tangs. They are usually more aggresive when adding new tank members, since he will be the new guy I would be more worried about the yellow and regal picking on him.

If you get one at around the same size as the others it will help with aggression and reduce the chances of anyone getting hurt. I found that a taping a mirror to the tank works great when I added new tangs, in addition to reducing light for a day or two. The mirror would keep the yellow and regal busy while letting the pbt settle in.

I would advise against it for your tank. Adding a pet at this point would most likely disrupt the balance you have in the tank now. Even if they are added last the pbt will still eventually become the aggressor in the tank to everyone.
