Powder blue tang.

I have had my powder blue tang for over a year now in my main display. Today I came home to see him having a black spot on him. I don’t know wether it’s black ich or if he had got stung by my Condy nem. Needed others opinions before I do anything. I will be attaching photos. Sorry they aren’t the best photos did the best I could. He is swimming normally and eating and acting the same as usual as well.

Any other symptoms? Is it just one spot?
If it is, I would keep an eye on him and leave him alone for now.

No other symptoms, that is the only spot so far.

I could say as for many tNGS,A FRESHWATER DIP DOES WONDERS, , , , , but FOR ONE SPOT, I WOULD NOT STRESS THE FISH AT ALL ESPECIALY WITH IT BEING A POWDER BLUE THAT STRESSES EASILY as it is.
Do monitor it as well as any other occupants to assure this is an isolated instance. Generally this spot(s) are caused by turbellarian flatworms. it is easily treated if this is the case, Again monitor the fish. It may very well drop right off.

Agree. I have seen this a few times on both my powder brown and powder blue.

IMHO - you are overanalyzing. Its probably a scratch or a sting that the fish will easily recover from - assuming its otherwise doing well. Just watch it.
