I’m very new to this hobby so take this fwiw but I have a Royal Gamma also with a white flat spot on the dorsal side close to the tail fin. Posted on here and people said it looks like an abrasion or bacterial infection. Looks like you could catch that one and put into QT - no way I can catch mine so I’m soaking food it Metroplex and Focus and they’ll all have to eat it. My fish is acting normal though, eating, etc. How is yours behaving?

yeah I guess it would have to be bacterial. I've got him in copper and just finished a general cure mixed with focus treatment. I'll start the furan2 with focus in the morning.

i pulled the copper last night and he looks 100% better today. well, to be fair i havent done a copper test but i did add the copper removing agent and a couple of bags of charcoal to boot.
