whilst it has died, I am posting the pics so i can get some advice on whats going on here - ich or velvet or something else? I got this around 3 to 4 days back and was perfectly fine. I put it in QT for 2 days ( treated with copper power) and then in DT. today it should few spots, so quickly put it back in QT and then it's dead. I have now removed all my fish from DT and in QT.

the body was beautiful brown and now as you can see the middle part is gone pale.

@Gulrez , I'm pretty worried about your QT procedure, particuarlly why the fish was in copper power for 2 days before going in your DT. The reason I bring this up is that I'm worried about your current fish and what your plan is for them. Can you detail your procedure, how you test your copper, the level you are holding the tank at and your plan for them?

29g long QT tank. Hanna copper test at 2.5ppm copper power

I didn’t have that many fishes to begin with. So it’s three more fishes in QT and all seem to doing fine eating etc.

Did you ramp up the fish you transferred to 2.5ppm copper or were they taken from DT and put directly into QT?

It was around 1ppm but then I ramped it up today

Looks like velvet, check out this link for much more in depth on QT process. Fish need to be in copper for minimum 14 days, with sterile tank transfer method, or 28 days of consistent 2.0ppm Cu.

Updated QT process
