Powder Brown Tang, top fin spot

My powder brown tang has been doing great but just today I noticed this spot above his head area. Not sure what it is or what to do with him. I feed ocean nutrition and rods food. All other fish are good, not much aggression. Not sure if it could be because he squeezes between rocks to sleep or what it is

No signs of white spots, he’s been in two weeks. Eats like a piggy, picks the rocks all day. Barely has any spats with the very small hippo tang or the yellow tang. Tank is a 180g, he’s about 2 inches long. Came from my lfs who quarantines in copper. Had him about two weeks now with no issue but I noticed this spot on him. All other fish are fine just hungry eaters lol

Okay thanks. You don’t think that spot looks that bad do you? He’s eating fine and swimming like normal which would indicate to me he is overall healthy still. Worried about him

Doesn't look bad at the moment; but if it starts growing in size, and/or turns red/white you may have a problem. Can you QT, if needed?

Yes I have a tank on standby just in case. Hopefully not
