Powder Brown Tang

Hello guys,
Just a quick question.

I have a 150 g tank and just bought a powder brown around 3 to 3.5 inches. Because I have a Sailfin Tang, I bought a “medical tank” is like 10”x8” and I stick that inside the 150g wall. My idea is to have something dividing the new fish so that the ones already establish can see them before adding to the actual tank at least for the first couple of days.

Can I leave that tang there for at least a day, or you thing is going to get stress right away?

I would definitely keep them separate for a while especially if you don’t qt. Mine got beat up bad by my kole tang my desjardini left him alone completely. Each fish is different.

He did his qt time already. But he was alone in the QT tank. And that what I’m trying to avoid, even thou it can still happen.
