Powder brown

i am a novice and I think I made a big mistake. I put a small powder brown in my nano 28g. I have a clown and a dottyback. I really should have done my homework before I purchased him. He has acclimated to my tank and plays well with the others. I'm thinking about a bigger tank but how soon should I do this? I don't want my brown to die. Do I have a few months or should I try and sell him or maybe see if the shop will take him back? Please advise.

No way that is going to work out those fish swim miles each day in the ocean. He will definitely need a new home or he will stress and die.

If you cant rehome him soon please give it back to your LFS or find someone who has a large enough tank.

Rehome means to find someone who has an appropriate size tank for that tang.....at least 125 gallons. You can do that by selling, giving away, or returning that fish to your LFS. Your LFS should have never sold you that fish.

I'd also see if you have any local fish clubs in your area and talk to them to see is they could help finding a new home for this guy.

I just found him a new home. So excited. A nurse that I work w has 125g tank and said she'd love to have him. She's coming over tomorrow. I'm a bit upset that the shop guy didn't tell me not to get the tang. I told him I had a nano. He also had a lot of large aiptasia in his tank which I thought was odd. THank you all for the input!! I really appreciate it
