Can I keep a powder blue tang with a powder brown tang? If not, can I keep two of the same? This would be in a 150 gallon.

It’s been done but probably not the greatest idea to try. Nothing is guaranteed in this hobby.

Didn't work in my 300G tank, had to separate them. Blue was chasing the brown 24/7. They were introduced to my tank week ago, both approximately 4". I will have to sell my brown.

No to both questions. Even if the tank was much larger you’d have problems. If it were me I’d stick with one Acanthurus in a tank that size and add a zebrasoma, both added at the same time.

According to everything I have read and all the advice I was given, it's best not to keep more than one Tang from each Genus together and always introduce them at the same time. I currently have a Powder Blue in QT with a Purple Tang and while there is definitely some aggression, they both seem to be OK for the most part. I plan on having a Blue Tang and a Two Spot Bristle Tooth Tang in another QT shortly and will introduce them all at the same time into my DT.

I think I saw a list of all the different families of Tangs/Surgeonfish on this site somewhere, but here are the common ones I found by Genus:
