I had a member suggest adding a power bar to my Apex to use for equipment that is constantly on, therefore freeing up an outlet for other uses. If anyone does this what is a good quality power bar to purchase.

thank you.No need to plug stuff in to the apex outlets that aren't actually being controlled by the apex.
As for power bars, I use a fairly heavy duty shop-type with an on off switch and a built in circuit breaker&surge protector.
Thank youYou could also get extension cord splitters to combine equipment on the apex, if possible. For instance if you are running 2 lights you could us the splitter to run both lights off one outlet. Surge protector is probably cheaper in the long run. I like the surge protectors that have individual switches for each outlet, this Way equipment can still be shutdown easily.
