I recently bought a powder Brown tang and had it in qt for 14 days it seemed to be doing fine then moved it to the dt now it won't eat tried everything I can think of, any ideas

Any apparent issues with the fish? IE: Erradict behavior, flashing, scratching, emaciated, injurys? What did you treat with in QT? Possibly side affects due to medication or internal parasites.

Nope it just kind of hangs out in one corner of the tank and doesn't move around very much it doesn't appear to be injured and I only treated it for ich, preventive measures. When I first introduced it into the tank my yellow tang I was pretty aggressive but I added a mirror to the tank for about a day and a half and that seemed to calm down the yellow Tang and none of the fish seem to be harassing it

From my experience with my Powder Brown when first introduced he was fairly shy then quickly became a jerk and Boss of the tank. Keep an eye on the PB. What foods/nori have you tried?

Man I've tried it all I spend about $100 on trying different kinds of foods and additives I just went the day before yesterday and got a garlic additive, mysis, brine, krill, spinach, sea grapes, spirulina, nori, red Tang green Tang macroalgae I've tried just about everything I can think of

Mine prefers Purple Nori, He wont touch red or green. Nori clips can be a bit intimidating to them in a new environment if they're not used to eating from a clip. I had to use piece of rubble with Nori attached with a rubber band. Place it close by them. Also soaking Nori in Selcon seems to help stimulate their appetite. Garlic/Entice in my opinion is overrated. Most of the fish I've tried it on wouldn't touch it. I found most of the finicky fish I've encountered cannot resist V20 Reef Caviar. You may want to give it a try or find some fresh Roe from a fish market/Sushi bar. Sometimes fish are stubborn and sometimes there are underlying issues that aren't detected right off the bat. Best of Luck.

Hey thanks that's just what I needed I'll try something new and I did put the Nori on a piece of rubble and put it by where he's been hanging out
