Anyone know where I can get replcements to lengthen them. It appears they are about 8' standard and I moved some stuff and like 10 or 12" cords would be great.

Are these just a standard computer power cord? Do they have a special named end?

Thanks,

They are shieded 14 guage stranded 3 wire - home depot and solder the ends together using the original cord for the plug end to the ballast and use heatshrink tube to make a clean bond.
Most computer power cords are thinner wire, so use the appropriate guage when lengthening - both for safety and to carry nominal current.

you need the ballast connection end right? if you want a longer one piece cord you are going to have to splice that connection in somewhere...the retail lamp cords for the Lumatek select-a-watts are 15' (feet) long and only $12 each or so.
Lumatek Standard Lamp Cord for 250W/400W Ballasts

I was mistaken in thinking you were trying to extend existing lamp cords another 10 feet...

Yes I need the power cord. Wall plug on one end and computer plug on other. So what's wrong with the 2 l Iinked above?
