Power Head advice

Hi All,

I've only got a little 28g nano tank and it has purity good flow at the moment using just the standard outputs from the 1000lh pump (outputs are in top back corners) but I'm considering putting a little powerhead into the tank.

What are people's thoughts with a tank this size, and what powerhead a have others used / like in my case?

It depends, what kind of corals do you want to keep? LPS need lower flow and SPS higher flow. If you go with LPS then I do not think you need anything else but with SPS maybe the Hydor nano powerheads. I would say the Hydor nano power 240gph would work well.

At the moment I only have a few Corals - Duncan, Green Leather Mushroom, red and green war coral and some random Zoas that came on the live rock FOC.

Jebao WP10 about $45.00 and can control how much and style of flow works for you. How much is the Powerhead in England?

At the moment it's between £55 and £60 with a controller, I'd say that's roughly $90 ish?

I have 3 jebao wp25. 1 in a 29 and 2 in a 40.... they're great

Well, I did it! I managed to hunt down a RW4 and controller for £45 in the end!
